How to add a Post Views Counter to blogger

I found very simple steps on how to add a post view counter to a blogger.

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Go to Dashboard 

Step 2: Go to Theme

Step 3: Go to Edit HTML

Step 4: Inside your Template Codes Box click once and press Ctrl + F and type .showAuthor and hit enter, now post the below code just above <b:if cond='data:top.showAuthor'>

Or 

If the above code is not found in a press Ctrl + F and type  <b:includable id='postAuthor' var='post'> and hit enter, copy and paste the below code just below

 <b:includable id='postAuthor' var='post'>

<!-post view counter starts --> <a expr:name='data:post.id'/> <i class='fa fa-eye'/> <span id='postviews'/> Views <!-post view counter ends -->

Note for Step 4: You may get at two places if it is like mine, You may paste and check which one is good for you. Try backup your theme before doing all these.

Step 5: Now scroll to the bottom of your template code, then copy and paste the below code just above </body>

Step 6:  Now save and exit 

NOTE: 

• You will find an eye icon without displaying a number of view-count. 
• In order to display the view count on your page, you need to create a real-time database on the Firebase website. It is free to create a firebase account.
• The Firebase link is given below but I suggest you watch the guided tutorial first.
• View count will include only those that are generated after the firebase account and your website is linked.
